Dear Marketplace Community,
In just a couple of weeks, we’ll be debuting the 3rd phase of our website overhaul with a whole new look and feel to the Marketplace - Apartment Therapy Marketplace will become The Bazaar. Along with the shorter name, this rebrand clearly identifies us by what we do best: we’re the place to go for Vintage, Antique and Secondhand items furniture and accessories!
Over the next few months, we’ll be continuing to upgrade our existing features and add new ones to make the searching and transacting experience better. And over the next year, we’ll be focusing on how we can get our collection of unique items in the hands of design-lovers around the world with our connection to Apartment Therapy.
We are also taking this time to institute a 60 day expiration feature on all listings. Sellers, you’ll be notified via email 3 days prior to your listing being expired if you would like to extend your listing for an additional 60 days. Buyers, this means a current up-to-date listing feed with an emphasis on Design! The first batch of listings will start to expire in February. As always, we appreciate your continued support as we work to improve our marketplace.

1. Will my Store URL change with the new name?
Currently, all site URLs will remain the same, but they may change in the future. Our development team will be working to ensure you don't miss out on any traffic due to a URL change.
2. Will The Bazaar still be free to use?
Yes! Our members enjoy our peer-to-peer marketplace with NO fees or commissions. We are in the process of developing a secure on-site transaction option, but our aim is to keep our service affordable for all.
3. Is the expiration feature mandatory?
Expiration will automatically apply to all listings published on our site. If your listing expires, it will be marked as closed. You can re-open closed listings anytime by accessing your Manage Listings options.
4. How can I get my listings featured?
Our marketing team is always looking for new sellers to feature within our Weekly Email and for prime spots on Apartment Therapy! Contact support at email@example.com for a chance to be featured.
5. Will the Listing Policies be affected?
Our listing policies will be updated once more to accommodate this new direction. We will be welcoming high-quality designer vintage, antique, gently-used secondhand items for the home that fit within our Categories and Markets. Unfortunately, this does mean that we will no longer allow new or handcrafted items to be listed.
